AVITSI builds private 5G networks for live production.
A private 5G network is a cellular network that belongs to the site it covers — your own spectrum grant, your own SIMs, your own infrastructure. AVITSI designs them, deploys them and supports them, for live broadcast and for the places where production has to happen and coverage does not already exist.
What we do
We build three things, and they are meant to work together.
Kits
Deployable private cellular networks, built to travel and built to go up fast. Sub-15ms round trip. SIM and eSIM authentication. Encrypted.
Systems integration
Putting that network into a production that already has cameras, comms, transport and a control room, and making it carry all of it.
Systems architecture
The design work that happens before anything ships — coverage modelling, spectrum planning, and the decisions that determine whether a deployment holds up on show day.
How we work
Every deployment starts with the spectrum.
Our engineers hold CPI certification and perform SAS registrations in house. In CBRS that is not a formality — it is the authority to put a Category B radio on air, and it governs what can be deployed, where, and at what power. Keeping it inside the project means the compliance path and the coverage plan get designed together instead of negotiated afterwards.
We scan and characterise the cellular environment on site before any radio goes up. A venue holding tens of thousands of consumer phones is an RF environment, not a lab, and the plan that looked right in the office is not always the plan that survives 4pm on show day. Reading the actual air first is our deployment standard. It is also why the turn-up times below are repeatable rather than lucky.
Our engineering leadership came up through Navy communications, defence electronics and live broadcast engineering. Different industries, one common thread: environments where the link either holds under pressure or the job fails in public. That is the habit AVITSI was built on.
Where we have done it
The claims are checkable, which is the point.
3 min
Kentucky Derby, for NBC Sports
Private network live in three minutes, in a venue carrying 145,000+ consumer phones.
7 min
Bowman Gray Stadium, for NASCAR
Live in seven minutes, encoder on the private network with the decoder back at the production facility.
300+ acres
DirtFish, with AT&T
A single network across 300+ acres, feeding live 1080p60 from in-car and static cameras at speed.
We have also deployed at Oracle Park for the San Francisco Giants. And the deployment itself has changed shape: what was a four day job out of a 300+ pound crate is now 37 minutes out of a 46 pound rolling road case.
Where this goes next
Private cellular is not only a broadcast tool.
The same network that covers a racetrack covers a farm, a construction site, or a stretch of ground that needs connectivity for four days and then needs none at all.
What makes that scale is not the equipment — the equipment already works. It is standards: written process, documented handover, and technicians who can solve a problem on site without escalating it. That is what we are building toward, and it is the work behind every deployment we take on now.
Let’s connect
We would rather talk than send a brochure.
Tell us about the site, the show, or the coverage problem, and we will come back with a straight answer on whether private cellular is the right call — including when it isn’t.
Goes straight to [email protected]. A person answers.
